Sierra Auto Group rents McLarens, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris by the day. Their existing site was a wall of stock photography. The new one is a film.

I started with the brand. A boomerang loop of the Sierra McLaren, custom-encoded forward + reverse so the seam never shows. A crossfade carousel scrolling photos like film frames, scroll-tied so the viewer can hold a moment or release. An editorial fleet page with each vehicle as a feature. A contact flow that routes directly to a 24/7 concierge inbox.

Then the engineering. Tailwind compiled locally, never CDN. WebP across every image for a 42% payload reduction. Lazy-loaded below the fold. An Apple-style back-to-top button with smart elapsed-time resume logic. Hand-written legal pages — privacy, terms, rental agreement, accessibility. PWA-installable. Full SEO + JSON-LD + sitemap. Tested across ten viewports before a single line went to production.

Eight weeks, end to end. Shipped May 2026 to a Google Workspace inbox configured the same day. Lighthouse 95+ on every score. Currently running production traffic.
